Saint-Félix-Lauragais, a charming village in the heart of the Lauragais


Perched at an altitude of nearly 300 metres, the charming medieval village of Saint-Félix-Lauragais has a population of around 1,300 and offers exceptional views over the landscapes of the Lauragais, the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees mountain range.

Ideally situated between Toulouse and Carcassonne, Saint-Félix-Lauragais is an excellent base from which to explore the tourist, gastronomic and cultural treasures of Occitanie.

Throughout the year, the village comes alive with a host of cultural activities and local events: La Cocagne (Easter Sunday), the En Fanfare Festival in June, 
the Déodat de Séverac Festival, a pottery market, exhibitions by artists and painters, concerts and heritage events that contribute to the village’s authenticity and vibrancy.

During the summer season, the Tourist Office, located on the ground floor of the castle, also offers guided tours of the village and its heritage (by booking).
